Welcome to Fridgepin. These terms describe your agreement with us when you use the service. We've tried to keep them readable and short. By using Fridgepin, you agree to these terms.
Fridgepin parses recipe URLs into clean, printable cards and (for paying subscribers) lets you save recipes and export them as a PDF cookbook. The free tier lets you parse any recipe and save up to three. Fridgepin Pro lifts the save limit and unlocks the cookbook export.
You sign in with an email address. You don't need a password; we send a magic link instead. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure. If someone gets into your email, they can sign in as you.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Fridgepin. If you're under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission.
One account per person. You agree not to create multiple accounts to evade the free-tier save limit.
If you're not happy with Fridgepin Pro, email hello@fridgepin.com within 7 days of your purchase and we'll refund you, no questions asked. After 7 days, refunds are at our discretion but we try to be reasonable.
For annual subscriptions, we will pro-rate a refund for the unused portion of your subscription if requested within 30 days of the most recent renewal.

Reasonable use is fine. If you're unsure whether something is OK, ask first.
Fridgepin parses recipe content from URLs you provide. The recipes themselves remain the intellectual property of their original publishers. When you save a recipe, we store a parsed copy in your personal account; this is for your personal reference, similar to bookmarking or saving an article to read later.
We respect the rights of recipe publishers. If you are a publisher and have a concern about how Fridgepin handles content from your site, email hello@fridgepin.com and we'll respond promptly.
You retain ownership of any tags, notes, or organizational data you create in your account. We don't claim any rights to it. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to store and display this content to you as part of running the service.
We do our best to keep Fridgepin running, but we don't guarantee uptime. The service is provided "as is." We may need to interrupt service occasionally for maintenance, upgrades, or for reasons beyond our control. We won't intentionally cause prolonged downtime for paying subscribers without notice.
Recipes parsed by Fridgepin come from third-party websites. We don't independently verify their accuracy, food safety, or suitability for any dietary restriction. Always use your own judgment when cooking, especially for raw meat, allergens, or anything time-sensitive.
Fridgepin is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Fridgepin's liability to you for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. For free-tier users, this means our liability is limited to zero dollars.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or kitchen mishaps.
You may delete your account at any time by emailing hello@fridgepin.com.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, particularly the "what you can and can't do" section. We'll usually give notice and a chance to fix the issue, except for severe violations (such as fraud or abuse).
If we make material changes to these terms, we'll email registered users at least 14 days before the changes take effect. If you continue to use the service after that, you accept the new terms. If you don't accept them, you can cancel and delete your account.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York and applicable federal laws of the United States. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York, unless a different forum is required by mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction.
